Findable is a plain-English tool I built to help you spot common issues in how your website is set up for search engines and AI tools. It doesn’t sell anything or capture your contact information. It’s one starting point among many — you can get value from established tools like Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools too — but it’s written to be readable if you’re not technical, and it explains why each issue matters rather than just flagging it.

A little context
Two shifts are worth understanding. First, search is moving from links to answers: for years the goal was to rank in a list; increasingly it’s to be a source an AI system draws on when it answers directly. Second, being understood comes before being found — machines can only recommend what they can interpret, so if your site doesn’t clearly state who you are, what you offer, and where, even a strong business can be hard for these systems to represent.

If you want the thinking behind this
I write about how AI systems read and represent organizations here. Some of it goes into the weeds, but the core idea is simple — machines can only recommend what they can clearly understand.
